Training Information

  • Where:

    Dresden, Germany

  • Venue:

    upon request

  • Language:

    German

This two-day training course imparts the basics on the design, loads, and ageing of paper-mass- and polymeric cables as well as the dimensioning, projection and operation of cable lines for MV networks. Special attention is laid on optimization demand because of the actual cost pressure to energy supplying companies. Effective operation of transmission and distribution networks requires knowledge that comprises the primarily physical-technical characteristics and the boundary conditions of the application. Taking the boundary conditions into consideration, the depiction of the dimensioning and the project engineering of cable sections will take place.

Within the course, current ways of looking at the problem with the use of cables will be introduced and the corresponding solution approaches and network operational realization possibilities will be discussed. Furthermore, the important foundations for the qualification, assembly, and the operation of cable systems will be communicated.
This course will be given in the German language. For more information please contact us.

Subjects:

• Design of cable installations
• Electrical attributes of paper-mass- and XLPE cables
• Practical dimensioning of cable installations
• Methods for analyzing the condition of cable installation taking
   into account the insensitivity
• Discussion with professional experts

Target Audience:

Technical engineering personnel from transmission and distribution network operators as well as industrial enterprises.
